Ski’s Famous Maple Bread Pudding

Ski’s Famous Maple Bread Pudding

Yields12 Servings
 8 cups old bread (cubed)
 9 eggs
 3 cups vanilla ice cream, melted
 ½ cup brown sugar
 ¾ cup melted butter
 3 tsp maple extract
 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Maple Sauce
 ½ cup brown sugar
 1 ½ cups Pure Maple Syrup
  cup butter
 1 cup whipping cream

Place bread cubes in greased 9" x 13" baking dish. In large bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Pour evenly over bread cubes. Let soak for at least 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Sauce:

Place all ingredients except whipping cream in a small sauce pan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium, boil until sugar is well dissolved and turns golden brown. Remove from heat and serve over bread pudding.

*Optional: serve with maple whip cream on top. ( 1 tsp Pure Maple Syrup + 1 cup whipping cream)
