Maple-Apple Jam

Yields1 Serving

 6 lbs apples peeled, cored & cut
 6 cups maple sugar
 1 tsp ground cinnamon
 ½ tsp ground nutmeg
 ¼ tsp ground clove

Combine all ingredients in large sauce pot. Slowly bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir frequently as mixture begins to thicken to avoid sticking.Cook until mixture begins to gel.Remove from heat. Remove any foam if necessary.

Ladle hot jam into hot jars, leaving 1/4" head-space. process 10 minuets in water canner. Enjoy!
