18 Sep Glazed Apple Maple Blondies
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Line 9" x 13" pan with parchment paper, letting ends extend over the sides of the pan. Peel and chop apples finely. To keep from browning, putting in a mixture of water and lemon juice until needed. Drain and rinse, pat dry if needed. In large bowl beat brown sugar, butter, Pure Maple Syrup, eggs, vanilla and maple extracts. Combine dry ingredients, and then beat into brown sugar mixture. Stir in apples (batter will be thick). Transfer to prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and tooth pick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs.
For glaze, in a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; stir and cook 2-3 minutes or slightly thickened. Cool slightly. Pour over warm blondies. Cool completely and cut into bars.
